Dear Taura Edgar,

I refer to your further email dated 16 July 2025 and our interim reply
dated 25 July 2025 regarding the captioned subject. 

The Education Bureau (EDB) has been attaching great importance to the
professional conduct of teachers and is committed to safeguarding the
well-being of students and upholding the education professionalism.  The
EDB has all along been seriously following up suspected cases of
professional misconduct in accordance with established procedures and in a
professional manner.  If teachers are found to have committed serious
offence, acts of immorality or professional misconduct, the EDB will issue
reprimand letters, warning letters or advisory letters to the teachers
concerned, depending on the nature and severity of the incidents.  For
serious cases, the EDB will cancel the registration of teachers pursuant
to the Education Ordinance.

As published in the administration’s written response dated 2 May 2025 (LC
Paper No. CB(3)645/2025(02)), the actions taken by the EDB in cases
involving teachers engaging in behaviors that went beyond teacher-student
relationships, or involving inappropriate physical contact with students
in the past five years, are reproduced as follows:
